Our Mission
Celebrating Jesus by Connecting with and Caring for all people.
We CELEBRATE God’s unending love and grace freely given for all through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. (John 3:16; Acts 15:11)
We CONNECT with each other, as members of God’s family, for mutual support,
encouragement, spiritual growth, friendship, and fun. (Acts 2:42-47; 1 John 4:7-21)
We CARE for others within and outside of God’s family who are in physical, emotional,
and spiritual need, and we are empowered by the Holy Spirit to share God’s gifts
and reflect His love with everyone we meet so they too can be a part of God’s family.
(John 13:34; Philippians 2:1-4)
Like the New Testament Church, We Believe...
- God is one, though represented in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. (Psalm 118:1, Psalm 145:1–9, Matthew 28:19, 2 Corinthians 13:14)
- We are saved from the power of sin and death by the grace of God through faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. (John 14:6, Romans 6:23, Ephesians 2:8-9)
- The Bible is God's Word and our authority for faith, life, and ministry. (Matthew 4:4, 1 Thessalonians 2:13, 2 Timothy 3:16–17)
- The Holy Spirit is alive and active in our world, leading people toward God's truth and giving believers in God the power to be Jesus' representatives, seeking those in need of God’s love and speaking the truth in love to all people. (John 14:26, Acts 1:8, Romans 8:26, Galatians 3:14, Ephesians 1:13–14)
- The church is not a place, but a people, set apart and sent out by God, strengthened in unity and love when we devote ourselves to the teaching of God's word; to fellowship with one another, to the breaking of bread and baptizing, and to prayer. (Matthew 18:18–20, John 1:12–13, Acts 1:8, Galatians 3:28, 1 Peter 2:9)
